Chamber Orchestra Inter>CAMERATA was founded in spring 2013 in Wrocław on the initiative of the Artistic Association Coolturalny Wroclaw. The originator of the idea and artistic director is the conductor and clarinetist Jan Jakub Bokun. It was Jakub who charmed the festival organizer as a clarinetist in a chamber concert. Intercamerata´s mission is to popularise less known – forgotten or still undiscovered – chamber and orchestral music, inviting the cooperation of outstandingly talented musician of the young generation, who frequently have just launched their careers. The ensemble frequently cooperates with the artists from the neighbouring countries – and in particular from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary and aims mainly at the audiences who rarely experiences music performed live. Educational mission constitutes an important aspect of the orchestra’s activity with dress rehearsals open for everyone, where the presented fragments of the program are accompanied by unconventional lectures, which aim at familiarising the audience with instruments, musical styles and forms.

Radom Chamber Orchestra was founded in January 2007 as a cultural institution financed by the Radom municipality. The orchestra consists of sixteen string players. Its first Managing and Artistic Director was Maciej Żółtowski. Since September 2017 this post has been held by Natalia Rogińska. In addition to regular concerts, the orchestra organises special events, i.a. Krzysztof Penderecki International Composers’ Competition ARBORETUM. It has performed with such prominent soloists and conductors as Lidia Grychtołówna, Piotr Pławner, Tytus Wojnowicz, Krzysztof Pełech, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jan Jakub Bokun, Łukasz Borowicz, Stephen Ellery, Wojciech Rodek, Patrick Gallois, Michał Drewnowski, Emilian Madey, Łukasz Długosz, Avri Levitan and Marko Ylönen. Its diverse repertoire includes works from the staple string orchestra repertoire as well as the less known, recently discovered pieces. The extraordinary versatility of the orchestra also allows for stylish and historically informed interpretations of Baroque music and the early symphonies by Haydn and Mozart. The important part of R.O.K.’s repertoire is music of the twentieth and twenty-first century.

Polish saxophonist Magdalena Jakubská–Szymiec studied saxophone at University of Katowice and developed her skills at many competition and numerous masterclasses. She cooperates with Polis Radio Orchestra, The Silesian Phiharmonic, The New Music Orchestra a Aukso Orchestra. She is invited as a jury member of national and international saxophone competitions and as a lecturer of interpretation courses. Since 2006 she has been teaching saxophone lessons at the Poznan Academy and at the Jaworzno Music School. In 2016 she recorded CD "Łukasz Woś – works for saxophone and piano“

The concert is held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Prague.
